Though you wouldn’t notice it from looking outside the window yesterday, spring is coming. Along with the change of season comes a gathering of exciting art shows in museums and galleries. It’s still winter but the art fairs have arrived. This weekend will see three of the biggest fairs in the country, where galleries from all over the world will descend upon New York. It is one of the best ways to see the best of contemporary art all under one roof, as a viewer or buyer. The Armory Show is the biggest of the three opening this Thursday, March 5th with over 100 exhibitors at Pier 94. Following up next is Pulse, exhibiting south of the Armory at Pier 40, also opening on the 5th. And finally, Scope, which opens on Wednesday the 4th, with about 50 exhibitors at Lincoln Center Damrosch Park.
