Art:21 debuts its 5th season this fall on PBS. Since 2001 this series has been profiling contemporary artists in their studio and galleries, giving insight into the thought process behind their work. Season 5 will be divided into four episodes, segmented into different themes, Compassion (October 7), Fantasy (October 14), Transformation (October 21), and System (October 28). Artist in the series includes Jeff Koons, Paul McCarthy, Cindy Sherman, and many others. Though its three months away, their blog is quite active with information leading up to the premier.
