The Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer, turns 102 today. A giant amongst modern architects, Niemeyer will always be remembered for the buildings he designed for Brasilia, his contribution to the U.N. and one of his most famous buildings, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Niteroi. Niemeyer continues to work from his studio in Rio de Janeiro with a major project underway in Ravello, Italy.
