The founders insists that this will not replace the brick and mortar art fairs, but rather it will enhance the experience. Buyers will have the ability to research artists via its database of videos and fact sheets, speak to representatives, and peruse various gallery ‘booths’ with ease, all in the comfort of one’s personal space. The fair has assembled a prestigious line up of internationally known galleries and includes Gagosian, David Zwirner, James Cohen, and White Cube as its founding members. Purchasing art can be an intimidating process, this will make the experience a lot simpler and gives the buyers the control.
