Copenhagen based gallery, V1 will make its way to New York next week during Armory Week, bypassing The Armory Show for VOLTA NY, a much smaller and dedicated art fair. Unlike other art fairs, VOLTA participants will only exhibit one artist, and V1 has chosen to show Richard Coleman. V1 is also participating in ARTPROJX Cinema and curating a group show at Fuse Gallery, titled “What’s He Building In There?” The exhibition include works by Dash Snow, Wes Lang, Harmony Korine, Todd James and many others. Fuse describes the show as “an ode to the darker side of curiosity.” “What’s He Building In There?” opens March 4th.
