To my surprise it wasn’t Wes Anderson’s brother, Eric Anderson, that illustrated the cover to the new Criterion version of Bottle Rocket, but a Chicago based artist by the name of Ian Dingman. The style of innocence mixes with the loneliness of his subjects. Dingman’s work has been published numerous times in the New York Times. His work can also be purchased on his site and is quite affordable.
