Phillips de Pury & Company recognize that the mid-century modern design and urban street art / collectible markets share a similar audience and have been integrating the two markets at their Saturday @ Phillips auction. From vinyl toys and Barry McGee paintings to Prouvé stools and Eames furniture, Phillips’s popular auction have attracted many buyers from different age groups. Consisting of works with estimates of $500 to no more than $20,000, the auction also includes postmodern pieces from Marc Newson and modern art from Andy Warhol. Saturday @ Phillips will be held this weekend starting at 9am.
