Printed Matter will be hosting WFMU’s 50th anniversary art benefit starting this Saturday December 6th. Over 40 artists are participating in this benefit including Tauba Auerbach, Chris Johanson, Richard Prince, Steve Powers, Swoon, Daniel Johnston, Dan Funderburgh, and others. In keeping the cost of all the artwork at a reasonable price, WFMU commissioned several artists to create limited edition prints while all original art work will be sold considerably less than what galleries price them at. Arrive early this Saturday, opening reception will start at 5pm, while the exhibit will be on view for only a week until December 13th.
