Taking place on September 19th in Rome is New York Minute, a massive exhibition featuring 60 artists who live, work and are influenced by the city. Kathy Grayson, Deitch’s Gallery Director curated the show so it’s no wonder that many of the gallery’s notable veterans are part of the exhibition, including Barry McGee, Steve Powers, Dash Snow, AVAF, and Tauba Auerbach. The show is broken down into three themes, Street Punk, Wild Figuration and New Abstraction consisting of large-scale installations, site-specific murals, sculptures, light structures, paintings and video projections. A poster pack has been produced in conjunction with the show that consists of 10 individual posters by Aurel Schmidt, Dash Snow, Dan Colen, Barry McGee, Chris Johanson, Evan Gruzis, Kon Trubkovich, Tauba Auerbach, Ben Jones and JD Samson.
