Not yesterdayness, or tomorrowness but Nowness. After publishing its first article in August of last year, LVMH is ready to fully launch its arts and luxury site today. For the past five months Nowness has been serving up daily inspiration and announcements from the world of fashion, art, culture and travel. Though the site is part of LVMH it promises to be editorially independent of its parent company. The design of the site is beautifully approached – very minimal, giving all of its attention to the daily story. Users are immediately hit by the day’s article consisting of videos or photos that occupy a large portion of the site. WWD reports that advertising will be considered in the future, and that they would like to work with brands outside of LVMH. Enjoy its pureness while its untainted.
