While Levi’s closed out its Workshop over the weekend it helped to launch another exhibition down the street at The Hole. Postermat which opened on Saturday, was conceived by Aaron Bondaroff, based on a poster shop in the West Village he frequented during his youth. The show features artists prevalent in the downtown art scene as well as Deitch alumnis including Andrew Kuo, ARE Weapons, Assume Vivid Astro Focus, Barry McGee, Clare Rojas, Bruce LaBruce, Dave Schubert, Dearrraindrop, Gavin McInnes, Opening Ceremony, Jack Pierson, Robert Lazzarini, Shepard Fairey, Yoko Ono, and many others. Posters are limited to an edition of 50 and selling for $75 each. If you can’t make it to the show, the posters will be made available on The Hole’s site shortly.
