Just as they did in New York during design week, Dublin based Makers & Brothers are heading to London for the London Design Festival. They will be setting up a shop for six days inside SCP Shoreditch with Irish willow weaver Kathleen McCormick. A small workshop will sit alongside a select offering of contemporary Irish crafts, while McCormick weaves her simple baskets from Irish willow. MAKING 02 is a continuation from their New York event that invites the public to meet and experience first hand artisans at work. The temporary shop will be open from September 18th to the 23rd.
