AIGA kicks off its fall season with a lecture from Karel Martens. The acclaimed Dutch designer and teacher has the ability to stay relevant even after practicing for over fifty years. It’s due to his progressive designs that is unlike his peers from that era. He’s known for his freeform layouts, ample use of color patterns, and ascii portraits. See Martens speak in this rare lecture on Wednesday September 7th from 6:30-8:30 at Tishman Auditorium.
