Sad news about the passing of John Neuhart. Though the Eames Foundation have been protecting and promoting the Eames legacy, it’s John and Marilyn Neuhart that have the most intimate knowledge of the design legends. The couple were an integral part of the Office during its existence as designers. John’s skills went beyond graphic design, he had the ability to make and build things. One fine example is the scaled model of 901, the famous brick building on Abbot Kinney. It took John ten years to make it and was eventually sold during a Wright auction last April. John had many stories of the Eames Office as revealed in our interview with Marilyn. We hope that with his passing, John Neuhart’s work and contribution to the Eames Office is not forgotten.
