How many companies can rely on the same set of products for decades and still be as successful as Vitsoe? Not many. For years, Mark Adams and the team have preached about good design based on the principals by Dieter Rams. They’ve also done an incredible job of telling the story and the history of Vitsoe. It’s an essential component for customers to understand the company’s narrative. Today, Vitsoe is adding to the story by digging into their archives and sharing it with the public. 50 years worth of material will be posted on their new tumblr in the coming days. First up is a record that was pressed in 1971 of an obscure jazz band known as The Sidewalk Hot Jazz Orchestra. As you can see, Vitsoe’s timeless graphic design is evident today as it was in the 70s.
