You may be familiar with McMaster-Carr through their giant yellow catalogs. Catalogs that have become collectors items in fact. Founded in 1901, the New Jersey based company is a resource for designers of all sorts, supplying industrial parts from fabrication to final product. Curator, Monica Khemsurov brought together thirteen New York City-based designers to create a collection of furniture and lighting using raw materials from McMaster-Carr’s extensive inventory. Designers include Todd Bracher, Jason Miller, Rich Brilliant Willing, Kristin Victoria Barron, Dror Benshetrit, and others. “McMasterpieces” will be on view next weekend during ICFF at the Ace.
