Joey Roth the designer behind the popular Ceramic Speakers has organized an exhibition entitled Sounds Like. He has gathered a group of designers to reinterpret the speakers in their own way. The designers were also asked to work with musicians of their own choosing to produce an original composition for the pieces. Each composition will be played sequentially during the exhibition. Among the contributors are David Lynch, Tobias Wong, Miho Hatori, Matmos, and many others. Sounds Like will open to the public next Monday from 6pm – 9pm at DDCLAB in the Meatpacking District (427 W 14th St. @ Washington St.)
