Participants in the first Cooklyn Improv

The instructions were simple, too simple. Everyone meet at 247 Stuyvesant Avenue at 3pm in BedStuy and be prepared to cook. We were invited to observe as well as participate. It was the first ever Cooklyn Improv, an improvisational food event that brought together amateur chefs consisting of designers, entrepreneurs, bloggers, and food lovers. The result was a seven and a half hour dining experience that began with a room full of strangers and ended with a seven course meal. Maggie Shi takes us through this culinary experiment.
