Barker Black the premium British footwear brand that originated in the late 19th century received an American perspective when it brought in Derrick Miller as its creative director in 2003. For the past several years, the label has been operating its retail space from Nolita but just recently expanded to the west coast, debuting in Los Angeles. The space resembles its New York counterpart, exposed black bricks, wooden shelves, and the clever upside-down shoe lasts to display its line of loafers, wingtips, and boots. The shop will carry the entire Barker Black collection of shoes and accessories along with a made to order service. Visit the new store at 450 North Robertson Boulevard.
