A couple of months ago cinematographer Ed David produced a documentary short on Martin Greenfield, a Bushwick tailor known very little outside of the industry but has been credited for producing suits for Neiman Marcus, Brooks Brothers and Freemans Sporting Club. Ed David returns with The Archive, another documentary that celebrates the past. This time his attention is focused on Paul Mawhinney, a touching tribute to the bygone era of the analogue and one man’s love affair with the out dated media. Mawhinney’s collection is estimated to be worth $50 million. Watch the doc here in Quicktime and here on Vimeo. via VLU
