Ursa Major's Fortifying Face Balm

We’ve been a long time admirer of Ursa Major, keeping track of their line of products since they launched. The Vermont-based mens line of products are not only beneficial for guys but the environment as well. Oliver Sweatman and Emily Doyle are creating a brand that is hitting all the marks of a sustainable company. Where people and planet are not overlooked when striving for profit. And their customer service is top notch. We’re always impressed by the service and attention that every package gets.

Ursa Major recently release their Fortifying Face Balm. Adhering to their mission of creating a genuinely natural line of products, the balm consists of ingredients like sunflower, aloe, willow bark extract, birch, and other earthy elements – minus all the chemical contents that are harmful to the body. This product is especially ideal for us guys by serving multiple purpose. It’s used for post-shave rubs to smooth out and to prevent bumps and ideal for hydrating the skin after a long day of summer and sun. It goes on smooth, light, and dries quickly and carries the sent of the woods – just like its origins.

Ursa Major is the largest constellation visible on a clear night sky in Vermont and is the inspiration behind a new line of men’s skin care products. Latin for “The Great Bear” the company incorporated it into its logo and from it have coined the term ‘living major’ – the idea of living a modest and healthy full life. This ethos has translated into their line of products. Their first being the Stellar Shaving Cream, which consists of 98.7% natural and organic ingredients. Aloe, birch and sunflower along with a blend of premium essential oils like organic grand fir, vetiver, and organic ginger make for an aromatic and pleasing shave. Three other additional products from the line will arrive in the spring which consists of a face cleanser, skin toner and face lotion.
