Last week we had the pleasure of being introduced to furniture designer and sculptor, Christopher Kurtz by our friend Chris over at Graphic Hug. After a great dinner conversation about art school hijinks we were intrigued to find out more about his work. The pieces are iconic, mixing clean lines and geometric forms. He combines textures of natural wood grain and sheepskin for just the right amount of character. The pieces are handcrafted in the Hudson Valley, primarily using domestic hardwoods.
