Jonathan Weiss is a man that has followed his passion in life and made it into a career. After renovating a loft in Brooklyn where he lived and shot his feature length film he came upon a derelict mill in rural Pennsylvania. Approximately two hours outside of Manhattan, the four story building was nearly in ruins. Nonetheless, he saw the potential in it and for the next decade he spent his time renovating the structure to the point at which it is now, a fully functional 10,000 square feet mill. He uses it to host his annual Speaker Tastings, a gathering of audiophiles showcasing their latest creations. For the most part, The Mill is rented out for photo shoots, but if it’s not quite what you’re looking for, he offers location scouting in the surrounding region. Weiss is also a chef and offers catering services for your shoots. All of this appears to be enough for one person but it’s not enough for Weiss. He also owns Oswaldsmill Audio, a company specializing in hand made audio equipment that include turntables, speakers, and amps. A man that wears many hats, all of which seem to fit perfectly fine. Thanks Daniel for the heads up.
