McCarren Pool returns to its original form come next summer and rumors are swirling about The Yard closing down to be replaced by condos. But not to worry, Gowanus is seeing two new music venues this fall, The Bell House and Littlefield. The people behind Union Hall is set to open The Bell House on the 18th, just in time for CMJ. Matt Pond PA will be performing on opening night, and best of all it’s free. Tickets will be available starting Saturday, September 6th at noon. While the Gothamist reports that Littlefield is a 6200-square-foot warehouse space that is environmentally conscious utilizing sustainable materials.
