The long days of summer are coming to an end, along with it numerous events that helped us to enjoy the season. But for New York the fall is the symbol of the beginning for a lot of things. In the coming weeks many NY publication including the Times and Time Out will be ready to unveil new openings from art, music, television, film, retail, restaurants and listings for even more events. New York magazine is the first from the batch with this week’s issue, to reveal their fall preview.

Retail openings include DWR’s first Tools for Living in Soho, Brooks Brother’s Black Fleece shop in the West Village, and J.Crew’s second take on a boutique with the Collection shop opening uptown.
