Hiroshi Sugimoto is currently exhibiting his famous Seascape series at the Gagosian Gallery on 21st Street in Chelsea. Viewers are immediately confronted by his iconic photographs of ocean views, spread out across the white wall in a series of 7 prints. The gallery guard will have to guide you to the second half of the exhibit. Behind the 7 Days, lies the 7 Nights. Through a small path, viewers will have to adjust their eyes as they enter a room painted in black. There they will find the 7 Nights, in a darken room where the only light source is from above, projected onto the photographs. The exhibit is designed by Sugimoto himself, offering viewers an experience to his work.

“7 Days / 7 Nights” is coming to a close and will end on March 7th.
