Even though many regard print as a dying form, it is still one of the more respected mediums. The end game for some bloggers these days is a book deal. For some it’s intentional, for others, not so much. 1001 Rules for My Unborn Son is the latter of the two. Walker Lamond launched his blog to chronicle the rules his father taught him to be a good man, in hopes that he will one day refer to them for his son. From sartorial advice to the way a man should treat a woman, it’s quite an entertaining read, with a bit of truth and wisdom sprinkled throughout. The site has grown into a 224 page book published by St. Martin’s Press, reducing its ambitious title to Rules for My Unborn Son. We can see this book enduring the shelf life with future editions, unlike the other of-the-moment blog/books. Rules for My Unborn Son is scheduled for release next Tuesday, October 27.
