Fans of classic VW’s will have the opportunity to drool over models from the 50’s through the 70’s at the first ever NYC Volkswagen Traffic Jam on Governors Island.

Japanese design studio, Nendo is having its first solo exhibition in London during its design week. The exhibit will be split into two parts, “Thin Black Lines” at The Saatchi Gallery and “Blurry White Surfaces” at Phillips de Pury & Company.

The father of ambient music, Brian Eno has been reported to release a new album under Warp Records with Leo Abrahams and Jon Hopkins. Hopkins’s “The Low Places” was featured in our doc with Roman & Williams.

Juxtapoz visits Geoff McFetridge’s studio in L.A.

You may have seen this already, but we like it so much we’ll post it anyway. William Hereford and Ithai Schori is working on an iPad “cookbook.” Using video and simple instructions, it’s entertaining and a great way to learn how to cook. First volume is up, we’re already looking forward to the next.

The Hole is a new gallery in SoHo, founded by Deitch Projects alums.

In the absence of Deitch Projects, a new gallery emerges, the Hole. Started by Deitch alums the new space will live in SoHo at 104 Greene St with its inaugural show scheduled for June 26. Wall Street Journal has more details on the arrangements and the evolution of the gallery.

Matter is launching a new collection of furniture, lighting and accessories called MatterMade during ICFF this year. The line will consist of 20 pieces “inspired and informed by early American craft and design.”

Michael Maharam with Sacha White curates an exhibition called Bespoke: The Handbuilt Bicycle. 21 bikes will be showcased in all with a catalog published by Lars Mueller.

Rizzoli has published the first monograph for Supreme. The book was made available yesterday at its stores in NY, LA and Japan. The general release will be next Tuesday.

Whitney on Site: New Commissions Downtown is a collection of new large scale works commission by the museum that will take place in its future location in the Meat Packing District. Three artists have been invited including Guyton\Walker, Tauba Auerbach, and Barbara Kruger. Each artist’s work will be on view for 6-7 weeks starting May 8th and concluding in mid October.

After several festival and early previews, Banksy’s “Exit Through The Gift Shop” makes its premier this Friday in NY, LA, and SF.

Brooklyn’s Sit & Read Furniture will be setting up shop at Unis, reupholstering vintage finds with remnant fabrics from Unis’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

Thomas Campbell is showing at Gregory Lind Gallery in San Francisco till May 15. Photos from the exhibit, entitled “Yar” is on view on the gallery’s website.

Scott Campbell’s first solo New York exhibition at OHWOW opens on April 29th.

Brooklyn Soda Works is an artisanal, handmade soda company made with fresh ingredients. They debuted their flavors last weekend at Brooklyn Flea and will be back this Saturday.
