Stussy launched in 1984 and quickly grew into a global brand pioneering and dominating streetwear. It was youth oriented, mixing skate and surf, hip hop and punk, and urban and coastal cultures. Almost 30 years later, Stussy is still a central player in the landscape but late last year, the label introduced a collection of wares in Japan, designed more for the domestic lifestyle rather than an active one. The label appears to be growing with its customers by launching Stussy Livin’ General Store. The second collection arrives in time for spring with items including everything from waste bins and trays to dog leashes and eucalyptus scented candles. The line hasn’t completely abandoned it’s identity, they still incorporate Stussy’s aesthetic and work with other brands like Baxter of California and Porter.
