A camera, marker, paper & a pair of scissors is all you need to make a movie, a Neistat Brothers movie at least. Brothers Casey and Van Neistat have been making their short films since 1999 after purchasing an iMac and camera. Though the production to their films are simple, it’s their story telling and subject matter that makes them so unique. Their humble beginnings would garner much attention after a video they made on the iPod’s battery life, went viral in 2003. And in 2010, HBO premiered a television series based on the brothers’ lives told in various short stories. Find out how it all began this evening when one half of the team, Casey Neistat, will be speaking at The Celeste Bartos Theater
 at MoMA.
