If you’re craving some serious sausage at 3 am, head to Crif Dogs (along with all the other drunk folks in the East Village) for sloppy, deep-fried wieners that’ll hit the spot after a night of drinking. Crazy concoctions include the Tsunami, a bacon-wrapped hot dog smothered with teriyaki sauce, covered with pineapple and green onions, or the Spicy Redneck, a bacon-wrapped dog with chili, coleslaw and jalapenos. If that doesn’t satisfy your appetite, spring for some cheese fries or crispy tater tots. Burgers and beer round out the menu, and if you’re craving a cocktail, try to get into PDT, the swanky, reservations-required lounge next door accessible through the phone booth inside Crif.
