Expect traditional American and English comfort food like grilled cheddar toasts, roast chicken and three-cheese macaroni at this crowded, low-key restaurant at the end of a dark alley. Though its hipster days are over, the people-watching is still intriguing, the cocktails are tasty, and the somewhat eclectic, though cozy decor-stuffed birds and mounted deer heads, old-fashioned portraits-make you feel strangely at home.
